The Thornton Street bridge is located in the City of Akron. In order to obtain the vertical clearance required to allow use of the double-stack trains, the tracks in the vicinity of the Thornton Street overpass will need to be lowered. All work will be completed within CSXT right-of-way, and will have little or no impact on the adjacent property owners.
